Staging guide allows you to create a visual checklist for your pros so your property can be setup exactly how you want it. Your pro will be able to view the staging guide for each job you assign to them in their mobile app. This makes it extremely easy for your pros to take photos during their final walkthrough once the cleaning is done by simply following the step by step checklist.

Staging guide consists of two things:

  1. Spaces: think of spaces as different parts of your property. For example: main bedroom, main bathroom, living room, gazebo, patio, etc.
    ​

  2. Staging Tasks: each space can have multiple tasks. For example: clean under the bed, clean the coffee filter, clean the fridge, arrange the pillows as shown, etc.

Create a space

  1. Go to the Properties view by clicking here.
    .

  2. Select the property you would like to create a staging guide for.
    ​

  3. Click on Add space in the Staging Guide tab.
    ​

  4. Enter the name and upload a reference photo and click Add space to save.

πŸŽ‰ You have just created your first space! Continue creating the rest of the spaces.

Create a staging task

Now, let’s add a staging task for the space we created above.

  1. Click Add task from manage space view

  2. Enter the task name, a short summary, and a reference photo showing what the completed task should look like and click Add task to save.

  3. You can continue adding more tasks for the same space by click Add task

πŸŽ‰ Great! You just created your first task and added it to your space. Now continue building the rest of your staging guide by following the same steps.

πŸ’‘When creating your staging guide, put your self in the shoes of a guest checking into your property. What are all the things that you, as a guest would care about the most? These are some examples of tasks to add to your staging guide.

What happens next?

Now that you have created your staging guide, your pro will be able view this in their mobile app when a job for that property is assigned to them. Automatebnb will make this available to your pro for every job. Your staging guide will also be used as a way to allow your pro to do the final walkthrough to ensure your property is setup exactly the way you want it for your guests. Once your pro completes the job, the final walkthrough photos will be shared with you automatically.
