What is a pre-cleaning inspection?
A pre-cleaning inspection consists of two things:
Rating how the previous guests left the place
Reporting any damages or issues from the previous guests
Benefits
Most guests are very respectful and leave the place in clean and tidy condition. But every now and then we encounter guests that leave the place is bad condition. When this happens, it is important to document the damages so:
As a pros, you can request extra cleaning fees (in applicable).
As a pro, you can keep records in case of your host has any questions.
As a host, you can use this report to file any claims with Airbnb or with your guests directly.
As a host, you can use damage photos to work with your service pros easily (especially if you are not close to the property).
How to get started?
First and foremost: Download the latest version of our mobile app here. This feature is not available on web.
On the day of the job, go into the job view.
Click Start Job.
Scroll to the bottom to the Inspection Card, and click on Start Inspection.
Tap on one of the emojis (rating 1 to 5, 5 being best).
If there are any damages, tap on Report issue.
Fill out the description and take one or more supporting photos.
Click Save & Close to exit Report issue view.
Click Save & Close again to exit Inspection view
You will be able to update the ratings and add more photos until you complete the job.
